- Start the tool and wait for processing to finish.
- Download the result and check the file before sharing or deleting your original copy.
Choose the Right PDF Tool
Merge PDF
Use Merge PDF when you want to combine multiple PDF files into one document. Arrange the files in the desired order before creating the final PDF.
Compress PDF
Use Compress PDF when your file is too large for email, uploads, or storage. Compression results depend on image quality, scans, embedded content, and the original file structure.
Split PDF
Use Split PDF when you need to separate pages, extract part of a document, or turn a large PDF into smaller files.
Edit PDF
Use Edit PDF for supported online edits. Some PDFs are harder to edit because they are scanned images, password protected, flattened, or built from complex layers.
Add Watermark
Use Add Watermark to mark drafts, review copies, confidential files, branded files, or ownership copies.
Uploads and Downloads
Why is my file not uploading?
Check that the file type is supported by the selected tool, the file is not too large, your connection is stable, and the browser has permission to access the file.
Why is processing taking longer than expected?
Large PDFs, scanned documents, high-resolution images, encrypted files, and slow connections can increase processing time. Try a smaller file or refresh the page if the task appears stuck.
Where is my downloaded PDF?
Most browsers save downloads to the Downloads folder unless you selected a different location. Check your browser download list if you cannot find the result.
Should I keep a backup of my original file?
Yes. Always keep your original document until you have opened and checked the processed result. PDF Mocha is a processing tool, not a document backup service.
Troubleshooting
The tool says my PDF is password protected
Some PDFs are encrypted or restricted by the document owner. You may need the password or permission from the owner before editing, splitting, merging, or compressing the file.
The output file looks different from the original
PDFs can contain fonts, images, annotations, forms, layers, and security settings. If the result is not what you expected, try different settings or use the original file format when possible.
The page or tool is not responding
Refresh the page, update your browser, disable conflicting extensions, or try another modern browser such as Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox.
